Roots Longboards was established in 2013 when Dean and Dixie, who had been in the surf, skate and carpentry industry most of their lives, decided to start making their own boards to ride. 

With the help of Dixie's sister, Michelle, and fellow skater James, Roots Longboards was born! Over the years we have put on our own events, taught numerous kids to skate and represented Roots at festivals. We've also supported the local community maintain the skate amenities and generally shared the stoke as much as we can! Riding bowls, parks and bombing hills is what we love to do. The fact we get to do it on our own boards and share our passion makes it even sweeter.
